THE CYCLE OF LIFE AND OUR PLANETLady Amythyst of AvalonThe article below is based partially upon the writings of Hierocles of Alexandria, c. 430 CE. The intelligent essence of the soul received from the logos (cosmic consciousness) an inseparable immaterial body and thus entered into the being of man. It is therefore neither corporeal, but comparable to the sun and the stars, that are themselves the fruits of an immaterial substance. This animal body which human beings possess, is of a radiant nature. This vehicle of the soul is contained in the body of man; it infuses life into the lifeless and harmony into the hitherto soulless physical organism. Man's life principle is the interior being producing the activity of life in the organisms. The interior man consists of an intelligent substance and of an immaterial body (material in the transcendental sense). The visible material form is the reproduction and the image of the interior man. The exterior form consists in an animal material body, nonintellectual. By the process of purification of the material and the etheric bodies, a separation is made between the living substance and the so-called dead matter; hence man is able to acquire the faculty to enter in relation with the pure intelligence. There are universal laws involved in the cycle of life. The bulk of these laws still elude our comprehension. Humans are only one of the many manifestations of that cosmic source of all that was, is, and shall be. We humans are only one of the many manifestations of the cosmic intelligence, and can never take the place of this intelligence, because we will never totally unravel the mystery of life. We will never be able to create life. There are many reference books so as to form a general idea of the present state of scientific research undertaken in this field. I want to address those concerns that involve the laws used by life to manifest itself throughout the realms of nature and see how that phenomenon called death does not correspond to any cosmic actuality, but to a purely human notion. This concept arises because we do not have an objective memory of the state preceding our birth, therefore we can only speculate on the state that we will know in the afterlife. Even the word afterlife presupposes that life can have an end, which is not the case. The energy that we call the life force, the All, is all energy, no matter what form it takes, and is indestructible by nature. Scientists also acknowledge this fact and conduct their research in accordance with this law. Life contrary to all appearances is immortal. This conforms to the mystical definition of immortality neither a beginning nor an end. Life is eternal.... |
